Lee Ainley’s Blues Storm – A New Beginning…

Already renowned on the local circuit for their very eclectic take on “the blues” Lee Ainley’s Blues Storm took the opportunity of a gig at London’s iconic 100 Club to take things a step further and debut their first original material.

This has opened the creative floodgates. Guitarist Elliot Young is leading the charge with some outstanding riff based song ideas, Lee waking up at 4 a.m. with fully formed lyrical content, and Tori showing that she has been paying very close attention to her songwriting degree course at Brighton’s talent hothouse, BIMM.

Still with one foot firmly in the Blues camp, this new material nods its hat equally at the likes of long time favourites the Tedeschi Trucks Band, but also borrowing from heavier influences such as Rival Sons and the Temperance Movement.

With unique joint mother & daughter lead vocals of Lee and Tori, exciting lead guitar from mature beyond his years Elliot, and a rock solid rhythm section of Simon (drums) and Mike (bass), this new incarnation is ready to continue building up the storm!
